Missional - Leap of Faith

Read Mark 10:46-52

Bartimaeus discovered that his leap of faith was throwing off his cloak. A blind mans cloak was his life. It sustained him and was his bed. He used it to gather what he begged. But when he heard the voice of Christ he threw off that cloak, never intending to need it again. That was his leap of Faith.

Joe Kittinger in the summer of 1960 made another "leap of faith"

You can read about his leap of faith here.

So here's my challenge for you.......

God is calling missional leaders to throw off their cloaks and take a leap of faith. What leap is He asking you to make?

It's always a challenge... especially when you see being missional as using every part of your everyday life to bring God glory & express your love to Him. But when you make sacrifices, or take risks and step out in faith you move from the everyday radical something different. It's scary but a good encouragement. Thanks!
