So are you committed?
What did you do today to further your missional life?
Did you embody your missional life at the coffee shop this morning? Or during that meeting with your boss?
Have you lived it in some way?
If you’ve not then I’d say your only committed to the idea. Until your actions match your ideas, there’s no hope to change the world.
But there’s good news, once you live it, others will notice and be drawn to you. And then guess what? Your small group will form and you will begin to change to the world.
Live as you ought, to impact as your called.

Hey Jerry -
I'm discovering two kinds of "missional" people. One kind works hard at being missional & frequently forgets that missionality is merely a natural expression of living an abiding & dependent life in Christ. Another kind desperately & dependently abides in Christ & discovers that they cannot help being missional. The first is burdensome. The second is life-giving.
My prayer is that we work at dependently abiding in Christ so Christ might work His supernatural mission in & thru us as only He can. Ps 127:1... "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain."

great questions...they seek to penetrate the ever present dichotomy of public life and private faith. it is a reduction of the gospel to love only the idea and to keep our faith trapped in the realm of abstract mental affirmations. if it does not become the air we breath and flow outwardly from us into our daily lives, those we relate to etc...we empty the power of the cross.
