Prayer as Missional
Yesterday I had the honor to watch Carolina beat up on the Ravens. It was a great game.
But as usual - God struck me with something totally different. After the game was over and all the players shook hands and such, my wife and I started to leave. As we were about to exit she stopped and snapped this photo. It was at this point God spoke to me - this is the power of being missional. No cameras, no reporters no pomp or circumstance - just a group of players from both teams taking a moment together recognize something more important.
When they were finished they simply stood up and walked to their locker rooms.
Unashamed, but not grandstanding these players did something that was natural to them and it turned into a missional moment.

Fantastic. That's being an everyday Christian. I hope it created some good discussions for some fans in the car on the way home :)
